Grrr - ever since I installed Tiger, my brightness controls on my PowerBook have stopped working! They F1/F2 (brightness contol) keys do nothing and I've lost my brightness slider inside the 'Displays' control panel! Arrrg! Is this a Tiger bug - is anyone else having this problem? Everything worked fine in Panther...
I'm on a PowerBook G4 867MHz DVI.

My 667 PowerBook DVI has no issues with the controls after the switch to Tiger.

I have the 15" Al PowerBook 1.25GHz, and have no problems. Check to see if they have been remapped:
System Preferences--> Keyboard and Mouse---> Keyboard--->
Is the "Use Fn key" box checked? If so, you must hold down "fn" while pressing F1 or F2.

Same problem here! Running on a PB 15" Ti 1Ghz, 1GB RAM. No brightness control either on F1, F2, or in the control panels. There is also a running thread in Apple's discussion boards as well.
