I've just bought a new PowerMac and migrated all my data from my old Powerbook using Tiger's transfer function at startup.

I have two questions:

-I used to have Bluetooth on the Powerbook but not anymore on the PowerMac. The Bluetooth menu icon still figures in my menu bar - but because I do not have Bluetooth anymore, I cannot access any Bluetooth preferences to remove it. Anyone know what I should do to remove the Menu icon for Bluetooth?

-I have moved my entire Users partiton to a second hard disk using CarbonCopyCloner. It seems to work fine, but the Users folder is not identified with the Users Icon. I think it is because the PowerMac does not know where to locate the Shared users folder inside this new Users folder. I changed the normal users path within NetInfo manager, but how can I tell the Mac where to find the Shared user folder?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

PS: This is my first PowerMac after several Powerbooks. It flies! (dual 2.3Ghz) But it is quite noisy - perhaps because of the new Ati Radeon X800XT.

Hold down the Command (Apple) key and simply drag it off the menu bar and let go. You can actually do this with any menu extras up there to re-order them or remove them.
