Apple is allowing people who have purchased .mac to share address books, but I'd really like for someone to tap into this feature at the desktop level. There's the challenge, go! Joking aside, we'd love this for our small business. Especially if we could share it with our few Windows users.

Two options I know of, neither of which I've tried (though I meant to do try the second one sometime, haven't gotten around to it)
* Address-o-Sync for Rendezvous-friendly synching, between Macs only.
* Address 4 LDAPupload and download between Address Book and and LDAP server. LDAP means Windows users could access it too, but it supports only a subset of the Address Book fields, and doesn't handle synching, so you have to do updates on your own.

Thanks for your info. I guess I did not get to see an email letting me know you replied. Thse look like interesting options and I'll try each! I'll create a new post asking if people know how to SERVE LDAP on a Mac. I have a spare Mac and might try to do that.
