I've been noticing that some colors on some items look brighter. Very strange and annoying. This example is iChat on the left (looks normal) and NewsFire (Looks Off) these 2 greens in Panther look the same. Also the green on the Stock widget looks off.

Anyone else?

I am getting the same thing on finder labels and some of my icons. It was not always this way. I noticed it only after installing 10.4.1 :^\

Anybody know how to fix this one?

I went as far as a clean install, didn't fix it. I also now notice the action button in the Finder seem saturated.

Can I ask what computer you have?

I got it. The problem was that I was using an unsuported display profile. In the display prefs, check the box that says 'Show profiles for this display only'. Choose one from that list, or calibrate to createa new one. It requires a reboot to take effect.

I was getting desaturated interface elements all over the place before I found the fix. Apparently, some 3rd party apps installed some new display profiles and they aren't compatible with Apple's HD dispay.

FYI
I was also having trouble with Apple's color picker. I would select a color, but a slightly different color would be sent from the picker to Fireworks. Very frustrating. This also is fixed since choosing a compatible profile.
