My Powerbook seems to have a wierd problem with logging out or turning off . Whenever I leave the computer on, it seems to log off or turn off completely for no reason. It mostly just logs out, but it has turned off mysteriously a few times in the past month. Is there anything that could be possibly causing this? I am running Panther on a RevD PB with 768mb of RAM. I just got this computer a month ago and this has been become really annoying. Is it possible that I just have to change the settings somewhere? or is there something wrong with my install of OSX? Should I archive and reinstall? I dont know what to do - but I know this needs to stop. Can anyone lend a hand at this problem?

Do you notice any applications crashing very often? It sounds like a hardware problem to me (maybe RAM, maybe something else).
