That JiWire app does not find access points, it just... umm... locates them. You punch in hwere you are, it access a database, and gives you pay and free WiFi APs.

fisherKing and myself, and I'm sure others, are looking for a Dashboard version of MacStumbler (macstumbler.com) that ACTUALLY uses the AirPort hardware to find access points. As a roving network tech with Tiger, that would be absolutely positively one of them ost useful Widgets ever. EVAR!!!

Opps. I guess I need to read better lol. Been a long day and still at work. I guess just use istumbler or macstumbler until someone makes a widget. I just tested istumber works find under Tiger and now I'm going home to maybe get a few hours of sleep lol.
