With magnification on, and hiding off, I'm getting a strange behavior with the dock in Tiger.

If I right click on an icon in the dock that belongs to a running application, and then click on the desktop, without having clicked on any of the menu items (like right click on itunes, have a look at what star rating I've applied to a song, and then click on the desktop for instance), the dock stays magnified. Even stranger, the next time something else happens (like I click on a different application, itunes changes track, or an icon in the dock bounces), the icon the magnification moves to a different icon. The icon that's now magnified will have its name printed, even though I haven't had the mouse anywhere near the dock. If I move the mouse back to the dock, this seems to return the dock to its normal behavior. It's odd though, is anyone else experiencing it?
