I sent a modified phone book.wdgt to appleman? and he posted it on his website for folks to download. What the modification did was send you to google maps instead of mapquest maps (since google maps looks much nicer)
BUT. I've noticed that it will not look up addresses that have apartment/suite numbers.
ie. 2524 14th avenue #234
I have modified it yet again so that it will remove the apt/suite number and look up the address (you'll see the building, just not the apartment number - doesnt matter, you just need to know the location of the building anyways)
I heard the original phonebook widget that linked via mapquest wouldnt direct suite/apartment addresses either, so this would be an improvement over the original as well (even if you dont prefer google maps). Since I only used the original a few times before i changed it, I cant verify if it's better than the original.
PM me or leave a message in the link if you want me to email it to ya. *shrug*

sent you a PM -- oh, and I had issues replacing mine last time. I initially screwed up, but fortunately made a backup of the widget. I put it back in the widgets folder, and now I have no address book. Any ideas?

Please just post a link, so this doesn't turn into a thread full of "me, too!"'s.

Google has a more up to date map database than Mapquest, so it should be more accurate on the whole. Mapquest doesnt' even show half of my subdivision, which has been here for over three years, but Google has the whole thing.

i cant post a link, but whoever i emailed it to (that's everyone here, and those who only pm'ed but didnt post here - they are free to link it wherever they want to host it.
That being said, i like google more (bigger image, and much cleaner appearance and also plots trips/directions) .. BUT .. one thing mapquest has that google doesnt is one way street directions (it shows little arrows to indicate one way streets.
that being said, i still use google's =P
