I am having some printing problems after upgrading from 10.3.9 to 10.4.0. My network printers cannot print (Epson C1900, P2000 and C21). The other computers on 10.2s run and prints fine with their printers except the C1900 connected to mine set. Tried using generic postscript printer settings, run USB direct, update Epson driver for C1900 (UK website), that still does not resolve my problem. Called the vendor, where I purchase my OSX and apparently, my case is not an isolated one. Quite a number of customers have called with similar or other problems. Apple helpline is next to useless, the tech guy there did nothing to help or gave nothing useful. I was told to revert to OSX 10.3, I am seriously considering it.

Any help guys? Heard from vendor, there might be a patch soon.

I had the same problem with my trusty HP LaserJet 6L on a JetDirect thingy. I deleted the printer from the Mac and then installed a new JetDirect socket printer. Now it works again.

My fiancee mercifully decided not to kill me this time, although it was a very close call.
