this is the kernel loadable:

Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies):
com.apple.filesystems.udf(1.4)@0x431000

i do not know what it means and do not know how to fix it. i get this kernel panic frequently. it was fine ever since i installed tiger, but just recently (today) it started to act up. i burned a dvd with pictures in it so that i could import them into iphoto. as soon as i started to import the pictures from the dvd, i got this panic. i keep happening to. any help?

i have the up-to-date version of tiger if that matters... thanks.

Check out this site: http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/kernelpanics.html

Since switchiing to the Mac in 2002, I never experienced these "kernel panics". That is until last year in 2004. In the Fall of 2004, I got like 4-5 of them. The Xlab site gave me some tips and I figured that it was some 3-party app or haxies that I had installed. So I disabled or removed them and have been fine since then. I think it didn't help that I yanked the USB cord while my digital camera was still on. That KP'ed immediately. So here's a tip: NEVER unplug anything USB-related IF it is still "ON". Always turn it off first. Anyways, good luck and I hope that link helps.
