At least 2-3 times a day my Dock crashes with Tiger. Never had a problem untill I did this upgrade.
Basically the Dock stops working. I can't click on anything in the dock, it just doesn't respond.
It's sudden and without warning. I thought it might have been application caused however it just happened with only FIreFox running. It was happening before I installed FIrefox also.

If I restart the FInder locks up.

Anyone got any ideas before I reformat?

No ideas, but I'm having similar problems. Typically, after I wake my PB G4 from sleep, I find that the Dock has crashed. Sometimes the OS will restart the Dock for me, sometimes it won't. This happens about twice a day.

I also have been having problems with SystemUIServer. All of the menu bar items in the upper righthand corner become non-responsive, and if I check top or ActivitiyMonitor, I find that SystemUIServer is eating all of the available processor time. This happens about once a day.

Any suggestions? Maybe delete the prefs files? Any prefs files that I need to worry about besides com.apple.dock.plist and com.apple.systemuiserver.plist?
