Hi All,

i recently updated my 10.3 to Tiger and i have major problems:

- The Dock disappeared! There is no more Dock at all.
- When trying to restart my Mac, it won't restart.
- When starting an app after closing it, i receive an error no. -600 dialog and the app won't start again. (I can start one app only one time.)
- Expose can not be activated/configured in System Preferences.
- Dashbord denies to start without an error message.

Before the update everything was fine.
All errors appear also in save mode.

Please help!

Thanks,
Mario

Sounds like something went very wrong during the install. Probably best to do a Clean Install or Archive & Install.

Are you sure there is no Dock? Is it not just hidden? (Move the mouse to the very bottom of the screen and see if it pops up.)

Yes, maybe an install error, but there was no error message during the process.
I have no possibility to backup my complete data so i went for the update install.
But how can i restore/repair the install now?

Yes, there is no Dock app running. The Dock isn't hidden.

It was a corrupt 10.4 dvd!
Used an other one and all worked.

Thanks,
