Is anyone else having problems with fonts in dashboard? When I launch dashboard, the font used for the text, is this very hard to read outline font. I cant read anything on most of the widgets. Anyone know how this font can be changed? Its strange, because it is a different font than any of the screenshots I have seen. This is with a fresh (archive and install) copy of Tiger.

That happens on one of the computers at my work. You don't happen to have Suitcase installed, do you?

Did you copy over your fonts when you did the archive and install? Maybe that font is corrupt.

I played with one of the new iMacs at the Apple Store the other day and it too had messed up fonts in Dashboard.

I *do* have Suitcase, and saw this problem with Dashboard initially. There were a couple of kinds of Helvetica fonts duking it out - when I removed one of them (I think it was a variant of Helvetica Neue) the Dashboard fonts started to behave properly.
