slow arse scrolling

	im a new mac user, and i have questions for u guys senior. why does browse websites in OSX really slow? i mean, when u scroll the page or moving to other tabs. its really slow. my mac is macmini 1.25 with 1gb ram and im using an external firewire hd with 7200rpm. i mean, when im using windows xp, the scrolling in any browsers is just fine, and it applies when im resizing windows as well. im using osx 10.3.9 with the latest updates, and i have tried camino, opera, and safari this far. all the pages scrolling and windows resizing are pissing me off.
