Import messages from OS 9 Outlook to Tiger Mail?

I have finally gotten my dad to agree to upgrade his Powermac 7200! He is going to buy a new iMac. How can I get the mail from Outlook into the Tiger Mail program? I seem to recall when I moved from 9 to X that Mail was able to import from Outlook OS 9 if Outlook was installed on the same computer.... Any suggestions? The Powermac doesnt have a burner but I could network the two computers together via ethernet if OS X - OS 9 networking is possible....

My what a helpful and informative reply. I do admit that I put this in the wrong forum so mods if you would like to move it to the apps forum...... However, I DID search. Not there as far as I can tell.
