I can't believe that I am the only person who has had this problem. I have made myself the administrator, changed the passwords, and about everything else. However I still can't change the shortname on the g5 i took over. It is running osx3.9. This ladies name still shows up on my little house icon, on the network, and if I use the messaging service. With the messaging services it identifies me by my name but states that i'm on a computer named "Pam". Please help.

Obviously, you didn't look in the right place
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
