Hey All

I was Just Wondering if Tiger will Boot from a USB 2.0 Drive???

Need to know before I buy a USB Drive. If not, have to get another FireWire Drive.

Also if I Load Tiger on my iPod will that also Boot from the USB 2.0 cable???

Nope, it'll only boot from FireWire.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Correct.. You can boot Tiger via your iPod if you get a FireWire cable for it though. But it will feel slow.

Will Tiger boot from a FW 800 drive? I used the latest version of Superduper which is Tiger compatible and my clone will not boot from the FW800 drive. I am going to try it on a FW400 drive and see what happens.
2007 iMac 24" 2.4 Core2Duo (currently 1Gig Ram), 4 FW400 hd's, 1 FW 800 HD, Brother MFC420N,, Liteon DVD-RW, Epson R320.
