Hey All,

Easy question, but I searched up and down the forum and couldn't find much of anything. Is there a way to make my iDisk not show up on the desktop when CDs, DVDs, and iPods" is checked in the Finder Preferences? Running Tiger, but I think this has been the case since Panther. Thanks!

Turn off "Connected Servers" in the Finder's Preferences.

I have this unchecked, yet the iDisk still shows up on the Desktop.

Works for me on Panther. Tiger bug?

Go into Preferences > .Mac and make sure the iDisk option is not selected. Then log off and back and on and see if that does the trick. If not, could try quitting the Finder and maybe even trashing the plist and reopening Finder.
