Does iLife come in Tiger? I was wondering, because i bought a Mac Mini after April 12, and i ordered the whole "up to date" thing. Does Tiger come with iLife, or no, because that would be a real drawback for me.

Tiger retail and upgrade discs of it do not include iLife. You may need to use the restore disk that came with your computer to reinstall those programs if you choose to do an erase and install of Tiger. Otherwise, upgrading to Tiger should be fine for you.

Your Mac mini came with iLife 05. There is no newer version.

iLife is a separate product from the OS; it is merely bundled on new machines.

Installing Tiger will not remove iLife, so there is nothing lost by upgrading using the up-to-date program.

Why is this a drawback?

I did a fresh install of Tiger on my Mac mini. When needing to put the iLife suite back on I inserted my restore disc that came with the computer and then selected "Install Bundled Software" You can then hit customize and install only the stuff you need.
