I get this problem with my optical mouse... it was fine all the way until i installed Tiger... the pointer started to "choke" from time to time.

Is this a bug or is it just me?

I just noticed something similar, maybe it's the same what you meant. From time to time the mouse pointer just jumps a little into the direction it's moving (where "little" might be about half a screen). I noticed it yesterday for the first time, and it was gone after a restart, but now it's back. I have no idea what causes it (it's not an optical mouse)...

My Intellimouse Explorer definitely stops and stutters regularly. Good thing I only use it in WoW where it works perfectly.
