I'm working on putting together instructions on how to build a bootable Tiger CD installer, but I need some help. One thing I'm going to try is to copy the method that the original Panther set used, but since I don't have a copy of Panther I need someone to paste the contents of a specific plist here for me.

So, from the original Panther CD set, I need to know what is in the following file:

Code:
Mac OS X Install Disc 1 -> System -> Installation -> Packages -> OSInstallCache.plist
If anybody feels like stepping up and helping, I'd appreciate it!

Justin

That's going to be more trouble than it's worth. You're going to have to make proxy packages for each and every package that you put on the second or third CD.

Why not just buy the CD set from Apple?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Let's keep this thread on topic and discuss HOW to build a CD, rather than why not too.
