I tried to create a Disk Image to my external USB 2.0 drive last night using Disk Utility, and I kept getting an error message telling me "Resource busy".
I followed the instructions under Help to the letter, including CD/DVD master, compression off, etc., but it just won't work. I also tried imaging the drive to a separate partition on the source drive, but I get the same error. I closed everything I could to make sure it wasn't something open that was causing it, still no go. Carbon Copy Cloner isn't Tiger compatible yet, and I tried a program called Rsyncx (basically the rsyncx terminal command with a GUI), but it wouldn't work either.
FYI, I am trying to image the entire drive with OS 10.4.1 on it, totaling 4 GB in size. My external drive has over 200 GB free, and the other partition has nearly 20 GB free.
Any ideas as to what's wrong?
