Ok tonight I went to Burn a Data CD from the Finder. I inserted the CD and got the dialog box that usually has a text box for what you want to Name the CD. This time I got the dialog box but only the options to open in finder/itunes/iphoto. When I click ok it does open finder, but named "untitled CD". I checked the CD/DVD prefs but nothing new in there. Everything burns fine useing the "New Burn Folder" but just different.

Do you have to use the New Burn Folder Feature that is in the Finder or is something wrong with my machine. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

With some loud music + a friend to chat nearby you can get alot done. - but jezz, I'd avoid it if I had the choice---- If only real people came with Alpha Channels.......:)

This is normal, you will be asked if you want to rename the disk after you press the Burn button.

Also moving files in only makes aliases, when you click burn the original file will be burned.
You can also copy files over in the old way by holding the option key, but this is slower.

I prefer it.

I assume they did that because you can create a burnable folder without a CD.
So you wont know the exact contents or date upon which it will be burned when you make the folder. It makes sense that it waits until you have confirmed the contents before you name it.
