anyone out there know how to fix? the profile is located on an os 10.4 server for what it is worth. the error is "read only format"

Try 'get info' from the contextual menu and change the permissions from read only to read & write? You might have to change the owner to whichever user you're logged in as.

It is not a permissions problem, the finder seems to think the folder is ISO 9660 format or something

I am having the same issues with networked home folders leaving behind a burn folder for any media, and then not being able to delete them with an error code of -61.

What I do to get them deleted is: Get Info on the file. Check the locked box under the general pane (it is unchecked on mine). Then uncheck the box. Does something, because after I do this I can send it to the trash and delete it.

Hope this helps until they get it fixed.
