I use Speed Download 3 (Demo) to download the latest HP iPAQ ROM for hx4700 for update my iPAQ and Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8. After downloading and put in the USB flash disk as well as burn it into CD and bring over to my friend's Windows XP to install and update. The ActiveSync can install without problem, but the iPAQ ROM crash and inform me that the file has corrupted, a new copy is required. I repeat the process of downloading in my Mac mini (Panther 10.3.9) one more time, and repeat the same process in my friend's WIndows XP; again it crash for iPAQ ROM as mention earlier. I do the same thing again with another friend's XP, it is crashed again with the corrupted file complaint. So I desided to download the iPAQ ROM in WIndows XP and update; it works!
So is it anything wrong with my Panther or the Speed Download or the CD ( burned with DiscBlaze Demo) or my USB flash disk?
