In 10.3. versions because I use land line my old mail system would tell me what percentage of message [right below the mail menu bar] that had been sent. I send lots of photos.

Has this feature lost at present or is there a way to set this up in 10.4.1?

You can see the % if you open the "Activity Viewer" (applekey + 0).
It also bugs me, that the developers have removed the status-line from the main window and placed it in the activity viewer - no need for extra windows if you ask me......

Yeah, I hope this "Status Bar" comes back in a future v10.4 update or something...

Thanks Jans Peter. What a pain. It appears that at least three see this as a problem. I will try and let Apple know my feelings on this.

Tiger Mail sounds like a usability disgrace.

At least Mail Stamps has taken care of one of my annoyances.

I miss the percentage sent status too. That clock thing in the mailboxes panel next to Inbox is useless.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

It's actually a lot better than Panther's Mail in many respects.

the status bar is the ONLY thing I consider better in Panther's Mail.app.

You should try tiger sometime.
