For some bizarre reason my HP Director and Sherlock apps keep being loaded in my dock at startup. They are NOT in the list of login items and nor ar there aliases to them both in the startup items folder so I'm not sure how they are managing to do this. Obviously removing them is simple, but then if I restart for some reason they're there again!! Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, but you may want to re-read my post; They are not in the list of items. That's why it is so bizarre!

I know that problem but don't have a real solution for it - after a few times deleting Sherlock from my dock it started to stay away... (and I always thought errors don't happen by accident if it's not Windows)
