Is there a mod/edit/app etc that will refresh dashboard at spec'd intervals? kind of a DB cron.

I hate having to go through the pause if i don't use it for a period and it is annoying. It sorta defeats the Jobsian "BOOM" aspect.

Thanks,

Get broadband.

It's the individual widgets' decision that go to sleep, so you need to modify the widgets to refresh at regular intervals while in the background. Luckily the widgets are in JavaScript, so you can do that for yourself. Instructions on how to do it with the weather widgets can be found here:

The principle is the same for all other widgets.

Have it, don't be flip.

No, it is not a network issue as it pauses at the fade in animation and I do not have any network updated widgets in use, just a timer, calc, battery status, itunes, etc.

Appreciate the help, don't need the 'tude.

If anyone else has any notion I'd appreciate it.
