My brandy new 20 inch iMac with 1 gig of ram AND my PB17 1.33ghz are both far from exibiting the kinds of rock-solid stability that 1.3.9 had. My up-time for both Tiger and for most apps is not what it was. Specifically, I am getting a lot of spinning cursors and hung apps. Word 2004, Safari, Exploreer and others are not stable like they once was! I supect they will get fixed with updates and I am patient but any ideas would be great. I did an archive and update, I run Cocktail and Diskwarrior well, a lot!
