At work I'll be connected to a few servers a day downloading and uploading files to them constantly. I really would like to be able to use the Spotlight Window to search these drives. The drives ARE connected to Macs running Tiger and they are Indexed. What gives...

The only things that appear are: Computer, Macintosh HD and Home. Does anyone else have this problem. That's a major bummer.

Another thing: How can I make cmd-F in the Finder open a NEW WINDOW for searching. Right now it searches in the window that I'm in. This isn't really a problem for me because I like searching in the front window, but co-workers are used to Jaguar where cmd-F opened a FIND window independent from the Finder.

Any help is appreciated.
