Terminal Problem!

Ever time I open the terminal it seems to execute the last command I ran, which happens to be encrypting a specific file.

Is there a way to reset Terminal? I think this happened because I changed the window settings while I was about the execute this command and I hit the save as default button.

How do I correct this?

Delete preferences, ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist?
