my ISP (well my moms now since I just moved to cable ). they block 25 outgoing, so when I am there 25% of the year - well I have to switch to their crappy server etc. Since my friend runs a SMTP server for his dial-up ISP on 10.1 Server (rock solid so no upgrade), How does he enable alternative port (587?) also how about SSH connection as well? thanks.

10.1 Sever..... perhaps time to upgrade - for security reasons alone.

Not sure if 10.1 server had postfix... or sendmail
