(In 10.4 I have filevault turned on)
A while back i moved all my files to my powerbook. (80 gig drive.)
I got to the point where i had about 40 gigs free and i thought all my files were transferred.
But one thing i did do was copy a 11 gig file to the / of my drive which i deleted after a few days.
Well, now its been a couple of weeks and I am down to 31 gigs.
The thing is I am unsure if i really copied 10 more gigs of data or if there is an "orphan" ammount of files that need deleting.
Since some of the files where copied to my / i am wondering if i need to log in as root to delete it's trash?
Is there a tool i can use to find all the files on my drive by size (including root level files) so i can look down the list to ensure that i really have deleted all the files and the disk space I have is a true number.
thanks
PS:
I tried this link but i did not have a previous system folder:

and I also restarted to reclaim my filevault space.
