Hi,

Since installing Tiger my Apple mouse has been chewing threw new batteries in just a day or two. Under Panther and Jaguar I would get about a months use from the batteries.

Anyone else notice this? Can they confirm it's related to Tiger?

My battery life on my BT mouse seems to be a little shorter too, but the performance has been the real pain! It works fine for a few minutes, then starts stuttering and stopping all over the screen. If I pick it up for a few seconds, until the beam starts flashing very fast, and then go back to using it, it seems to have 'reset' and starts the cycle all over. I've deleted and re-paired it over and over...strange.

Hmmmm .... I'm wondering if my batteries are still good and it's just Tiger registering them as bad?

Hi,
Have any of you guys ever thought of using rechargable batteries with your various bluetooth mice?
Ever since I began using rechargable batteries in my Apple mouse, I have noticed improved perfomance coupled with longer battery life. Also I am not spending any money replacing 'dead' batteries ..... my bank manager is now a happy man!!

PS: I am still running 10.3.9 but will upgrade to Tiger when 10.4.2 make an appearance!

I thought about it but wasn't certain about compatibility, chargers, etc...
