hello
Ive finally updated to 10.3.9, and have a new problem I put my monitors to sleep but not the system as I have an alchemyDVR card that won't wake up from computer sleep and it records in the night. this has been working fine.
I went up to 10.3.9 and every thing seemed ok then last night the monitors went 'off' as pe shedule and this am the monitors did not come back on, but I forgot to pay attention to notice if the fans were running to indicate the machine was 'on'
I had to reboot. the two shows AlchemyDVR was supposed to record were not done, so I assume the machine went to sleep or something else, no wake up.
I ran disc first aid and nothing was the matter. I set the monitors to 'sleep' at one minute, shedules a brief recording during that time and watied and a few minutes later the monitors came to life as they always have. the ecording was made.

I started a new one to see if this is something else or maybe the same thing but under different circustances. I don't mean to clutter things up with an almost the same thread but Id like ideas.
later today Ill try to just turn the monitors off with the physical switch as its my impression that you are not supposed to leave then on when not needed.
I have to solve the problem as if this is a freeze I ahve no way to know with the monitors off, and I need to leave the machine running at night to do the recordings.
any ideas with this new info?
