Yes, I know, I'm an OS version behind. Anyone have any cautions and tips before I do this? I was thinking of just doing an update instead of a archive & install, see how it runs. I fugure if it runs bad I can always do the archive & install later, or is it too late then?

TIA.....

Howdy neighbor!

Yes, you should be fine just doing the upgrade. If you aren't fine, then chances are the archive and install wouldn't have been any better. (e.g. bad hardware, corrupt directory structure, etc...).

BTW, if you haven't already, make sure you enable journaling.
