For some reason, my picture that appears in the login window (that you select in the "Picture" tab of the Accounts pref pane) will not keep the picture that I select for it. I go to "Edit..." and choose the photo that I want to use, but it will only allow the preset pictures that come with Tiger. I've repaired permissions, deleted caches, you name it.

Where is the prefs file that controls this? Perhaps if I delete that, it will fix this annoying issue.

User pictures are controlled by a cache in /Library/Caches.

Thanks...found it and deleted it, and now all is well!
