Could members please recomend an OS version for a 333 rev d with 128meg ram, will run Appleworks, or Office, and get mail for a uni student.

Upgrade the RAM and OS X should run ok on it. If you go with OS X, there's not much reason not to get the newest version you can run.

If the RAM is staying put, then OS 9. But I highly recommend upgrading the RAM.

Put 512MB RAM, get Panther and have fun If it has firewire, go with Tiger but I don't think that model has firewire.
