How do I repair a corrupted menu bar?? On the entire right hand side of the menu bar I often get characters running together, repeating icons etc.
I am running osx.4.1

Maybe you just used a program with many menus, which "invaded" the right side of the menu bar? If this is the reason, just click on the menu items, and they should return to their normal state, rearranging themselves...
