What OS/equipment does Apple Store run on?

To settle a debate I was wondering if anyone knew what hardware and software Apple use for their own online store. Do they actually use their own xServe hardware and OSX Server with WebObjects?

The debate is to do with whether Mac OSX Server software is capable of high demand web serving especially in comparison to it's Unix cousins. Since the Apple online store is one of the biggest (revenue wise) globally I thought it would be a good example.

The answer is a mixture of MacOS X and Solaris: as provided by Netcraft.
