when i ctrl-click a dock item i get this view:


but before in panther, options such as remove from dock, open at login, etc were not there. I want to simplify this view and remove those options from being displayed. anyone know how i can do this?

Just an idea:

Look in Macintosh HD/System/Library/Core Services/Dock.app and open package contents.
Then navigate to /Resources/English.lproj/Dock Menus.plist

You could experiment by commenting out the things you don't want. I suggest you backup Dock.app first though.
