Update!

This is apparently a feature!

I am no longer able to run scripts to put the computer to sleep when my screensaver is activated and is asking for a password to dismiss it.

I can run a script to quit apps though.

Is anyone able to tell me how I can hack the system to force-sleep it behind the active passworded screensaver?
