I ahve an odd question: will 10.3.9 run on the post Tiger Powermacs? I ask as I have a program and card ( alchemyDVR) whos version I prefer to run is not the latest ( I run 1.01.0 somthing like that) Ive tried their latest and do not like the formating of the scheduled recordings: very dificult to see them all and organize them in different ways ( older version looks like an Excel spreadsheet clicki9ng top tabs reorders scheduled recordings by time, date etc)

wouldn't it be someting to be stuck in 10.3.9 for something like that!

curious as I thought I saw something that some mac would not now run 10.3.9 but it might havbe been new iMacs couldn find thread.

There will definitely be Macs that do not run Mac OS X Panther anymore.
The latest iMacs still run Panther, but their fan control does not work properly without Tiger. Future Macs will most likely not run Panther at all.
(The current G5s still run Panther.)
