I have a 10.3 Xserve which I will use to manage a lab of Mac OS 9 iMacs with macintosh manager. I would also like this server to manage a lab of Windows 98 machines and wanted to know the best way to go about doing this. I have pulled some HOWTOs from the net about configuring samba as a PDC, but am having some issues with it. It would be great if someone who has experience with this could give me a direction to go. Is there any documentation on this that is specific to Mac OS X?

First, you have to get 10.3 running Open Directory. To do this, you first have to get DNS up and running. Once you have Open Directory running (possibly the hard part), then you can easily turn on the Windows PDC. The Windows part is the easy part. Get Open Directory working first and then try again. There's plenty of documentation out there about Open Directory.
