Hey all,

I recently installed 10.3 and archived 10.4 so I could record with ProTools. However, I'm finished now, and was wondering if I could basically just rename "Previous System" to "System" and vice-versa, and if my computer could boot.

Thanks,
Brad

No, the Previous System folder cannot be turned back into a bootable system. The way Apple chooses to name the folder is a bit misleading - it makes it sound like you can do precisely that. The OS X Installer moves most of the items out of the previous System and leaves only certain things behind. If you had plans to go back to 10.4 afterward, you should have installed 10.3 on a separate partition.
