Do any of you wish that iTunes would let you list multiple albums for any given track? I use Smart Playlists extensively, and most of them use either Play Count or Last Played. When I have the same song in different albums (right now, I do this with duplicate files as I'm pretty sure everyone else does), I could end up hearing it more frequently than I would otherwise. And, the play count for each copy of the song isn't as high as the actual number of times I've listened to the song.
I know this boils down to me beign incredibly anal retentive about my tags (I have rated each of my 6000+ songs and gathered year information about more than 4000), but it seems like it's a minor area in which iTunes is lacking. And it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult a feature to implement. The Show Duplicate Songs is a step in the right direction, but I'm not going to remove a song from its album just because I already have it in another album.
Is anyone else with me?
