Hi I have a real problem with dashboard. All my widgets keep vanishing a few seconds after installing them,..even the ones that came with Tiger. I drag them out, see the ripple effect and then gone!. The widgets are installed where they should be. I have done a clean erase install but did import my settings from my backup so maybe that is why that didn't fix the problem. I deleted all the widget prefs.
Please, any ideas? Anybody encounter the same thing?

Try to create a new user and see if you have the same issue. If it works fine, it's probably a corrupted file/pref of your current user.

looks like your right.My brother's a/c seems to be fine. I have tried deleting all pref with dashboard or widget in them but to no avail. Any ideas? Any prefs I may hav missed?
