I can't Put the Mac Os X Install Disc 1 Inn the cd-rom and then restart typing C.
(Don't ask how, cause I don't know how... Got a friend to do it, but he is out off town...)

Can you hold down "Option" at boot and select the Mac OS X Install CD?

Are you talking about the Open Firmware password? You can't have a capital U in your password.

I was going to refrain from answering the question at all, as I think this is a detail that should be kept quiet, but a google search on the phrase "resetting the open firmware password" yielded the answer.

For security in this respect, you need a lock on your power mac.

Are you sure that CD can boot your machine?
