OK, I tried everything and still can't watch anything at ifilm.com. If I try to change my video settings it displays a “Not Found” page that says the site is experiencing technical problems. This has been happening for over a week so I assume the one with the technical problems would be me.

Anyone else having trouble with iFilm or is it really me?

Can't get it to work in Safari/Tiger.

Works great with Firefox/Tiger though.

Change Safari's UserAgent to IE or Firefox and see if it works then.

User Agent didn't work unfortunately... Firefox and Explorer both worked fine.

iFilm has a page about this issue somewhere... here:
APPLE QUICKTIME 7 DOESN'T WORK WITH APPLE SAFARI BROWSER
(QuickTime loads with "question mark" symbol)

This is a known Mac OSX bug. The fix is as follows:

1. open your hard drive in Finder
2. browse to Library
3. go to Internet Plugins folder
4. delete "quicktimeplugin.webplugin" folder (i.e. drag it to Trash)
5. re-launch Safari

Worked for me.

Strange. I think that QT plugin uses the new Cocoa webplugin API in Tiger. I wonder why it's broken and the other one isn't. And you don't need to delete the .webplugin, just drag it out of your library.

Yep no need to delete it, just move it as posted today at macosxhints.com: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...50627204133570
