I was trying to create a ".sitx" folder for my web site but I had canceled the compact status. After that, the sitx folder won't trash. A window says that it is doing a "task" of moving and copying and I have to wait. But it have been over 12 hours and YES I have shut down and restarted and logged off too. But the sitx folder won't go to the .sitx folder.

Oh yea! I am running Jaguar 10.2.8.

What can I do ? Can anyone help me?

thanks
Christian

I meant the folder won't go into the trash.

What happens when you try? Have you tried any of the force-delete programs?

go into terminal. im confused if its a file or folder. if its a file, type "sudo rm " then drag the file into the window. hit enter and it will ask for ur password. once u enter ur password, the file is gone. if its a folder, type "sudo rm -R " then drag the folder in. again it will ask for the password, same thing happens. don't be afaid of terminal, it's ur friend.
